In speaking at my Spiritual Center today, I cannot help but be aware of the fear and angst in the world about the upcoming election. I’m certainly not talking about politics today or any other day, but I do want to ask the question, who will you be on the day after the election?
Since each of us is a unique Ray of God, will you be a demonstration of that or will you fall into fear, worry, angst, or perhaps mocking the ones whose candidate didn’t win? That is spiritual immaturity.
Remain heart-centered and stay above the chaos. Your spiritual influence is far greater than you’ve ever considered. Mahatma Gandhi said, “The pure love of one person can offset the hatred of thousands.”
Here is how I intend to handle election day:
- ➢ Get up early, enjoy the quiet and prayer time.
- ➢ Choose to be joyful, extending kindness to others.
- ➢ Go for a walk by the water, just like every other day, being grateful for my health.
- ➢ Come home, get cleaned up and walk over to vote.
- ➢ Smile at everyone I see.
- ➢ Have a peaceful day.
Day after election day:
Repeat of all above except going to vote.
- ➢ I intend to be at peace no matter who wins the election.
- ➢ I intend to be an expression of God, no matter who wins the election.
- ➢ I intend to know that all will be well, no matter who wins the election.
You know why? Because I know that I AM an expression of God’s love and energy right here on this earth and there is nothing to fear. I remember the affirmation that says, “I have faith that God is my instant, constant and abundant supply. I have faith that God is providing ways when to human sense, there is no way.” Regardless of outer appearances, I have faith. I hope you do too. Judy
